I bought my '88 Toyota Supra Turbo in 1991. At the time, I didn't even know what a turbocharger really did--I just knew that it made the car faster. With the help of the supra mailing list, I learned a bunch and eventually did a few mods to my Supra. I added an HKS turbo exhaust, HKS power-flow air intake, and an HKS EVC to raise the boost.
I also got my first taste of autocrossing with this car (pictures below). I never had any major problems with the car and it was really hard/sad for me to let her go when I bought my RX-7 in January of '95. She was a great car.
About a year ago (1997) , I actually saw her in the parking lot at my gym! She had Florida plates on her but looked to be in good condition. The reason I spotted her was because I saw a red Supra and thought, "man, that's a nice exhaust on that one". Turned out to be mine!
